What happens in a yoga class?

In an Iyengar yoga class you are guided through a range of physical movements and postures (asana) according to the class level and your own capacity. Done mindfully, yoga practice develops self-awareness and aims to integrate the body, mind and spirit.


Teachers will provide modifications, adjustments and extensions of practice depending on each students capacity, capability, experience and existing medical conditions and injuries.
